Hubert Sainte-Force is a legend... by accident. A colorful character, he travels the world of Fraktar with a unique blend of jazz-rock and legendary clumsiness. An exceptional virtuoso on the Kontroller, Hubert conjures up a complex, Chick Corea-inspired sound, blending jazz and rock with hypnotic musical flights. But where others are conscious, meticulous virtuosos, Hubert is a rising star in perpetual decline - a talent whose exploits come true in spite of himself. His incredible luck enables him to escape the most perilous situations, although he always seems as surprised as his opponents when the odds are in his favor.

Unique among Fraktar's mages, Hubert is one of the few to summon his Kontroller from a tangible object: an old, worn-out cane that looks like nothing. When activated, this cane transforms into a powerful, almost living bassoon, producing harmonies so intense they sometimes spiral out of control. This is where his clumsiness comes into play: by attempting a simple melody, Hubert can accidentally create barriers, project magical waves, or even affect his surroundings in unpredictable ways. His Kontroller-basson becomes an extension of his personality, as unpredictable as it is charismatic, making him an ally as dangerous as he is fascinating.
