Quinth is an enigmatic figure - a skeleton in appearance, but a living spirit. Once human, Quinth was a punk-style anarchist, always in rebellion against the established order. He is a close friend of Samara Steingrives, whom he has known for over a century. Unlike Samara, Quinth has never trusted Herd and has always sought to protect her from their influence, even if it means constant arguments. For a while, he thought he was in love with Samara, before realizing that their bond was a deep platonic friendship. His affection for her drove him to extremes, even experimenting with alchemy to prolong his life and stay by her side.
Quinth's fascination with the occult arts led him to conduct risky experiments. He wanted to live as long as Samara, fearing that she would face eternity alone. His experiments involved the use of elven blood - some of it obtained from Samara, sometimes without her being fully aware of it. During one of these experiments, Quinth accidentally killed himself. However, anticipating this risk, he had prepared a magical safeguard. Thanks to this, his spirit remained anchored to his body, transforming him into a skeletal creature. Despite his appearance, Quinth's spirit remained intact, still animated by that rebellious flame.
Quinth's Kontroler takes the form of a magic bagpipe, a symbol of his unconventional style and defiance of norms. His music is raw and powerful, strongly influenced by ska, but tinged with a haunting darkness. The melodies emanating from it are capable of manipulating emotions - strengthening allies or destabilizing enemies. The sound of the bagpipes evokes an ancient, almost supernatural tone, reflecting Quinth's knowledge of the occult.
Quinth is deeply involved in the Web, although he is not officially affiliated with any faction. He acts in a more solitary way, like a subversive element who strikes where he can to sabotage Herd's plans. He puts his alchemical knowledge at the service of those who oppose the corporation. His relationship with Samara is an essential driving force in his life - he hopes that one day she will see Herd for what they really are. Quinth is a symbol of rebellion and resilience, the very embodiment of the spirit of defiance in the world of Fraktar.
He may not be charismatic or a natural leader, but those who know him respect his unwavering dedication to fighting oppression.
